“ This place is well worth the drive from North Myrtle! Beautiful view of Murrells Inlet. Food was fresh and delicious! My guys loved the steam pot! I tried the clams from that dish and they were the perfect briney sweetness. My shrimp basket was excellent! They were Lightly dusted before frying which was a welcome change from the heavy battering that so many of the restaurants in the MB area have. Entertainment was appropriate for the space and quite enjoyable. Try the High Tide cocktail! Overall, superb! ”
“ As first time customers, we felt welcomed. The food was prepared to perfection! Waiter was friendly and educated us on harvesting oysters. Prices aren't bad. It was clean with a laid back atmosphere. The best bush puppies ever!! We'll be back! ”
“ As good as its always been... but with a fantastic new updated atmosphere! Long gone are the carpets from my childhood and most of the country kitchen chairs. The tables are new, but still have that familiar "oyster hole" to toss your shells through into the bins. The new bar is beautiful and there's plenty of TVs to watch sports or true crime docs in that area. The servers no longer wear jeans and tee shirts, but are a bit more spiffy now! Make sure to try to get a window table and enjoy the sunset over the creek, and walk out back and onto the marsh walkway. Toss a shrimp to a cat, too. ”

“ For years we've mistakenly driven by Nance's, maybe judging the book by the cover. Glad we finally got around to going because we loved it! Obviously, many locals are regulars and the atmosphere is fun. Two of us shared the big (86) steampot. That is pricey but is enough succulent seafood (mostly local) for 2 or 3. ”
